I found that the best location for the weekly shot was in the bathroom, sitting on the edge of the tub.  Lots of light an privacy.

I liked to use the fatty area in my lower belly the best however, you need to rotate your injection site, so my favorite area (least painful), was not always the available option.  Your meds should have come with a diagram of injection sites recommended..., or your nurse would have given you one.

I didn't have an awful lot of fat and used the outer part of my thigh - ......I dont think it really matters other than that really.  Plus once you are over 20 well none of us are as thin as we used to be after that right?

It's a subcutaneous injection stalion.  As long as the interferon is going under the skin and there is enough skin to pinch that's the most important thing.  I would have shot it in my a-s-s if I could have reached cause we're talking some body fat back there.
In all seriousness, just as long as it can be injected under the skin where the fat is more prevalent such as the tummy or legs it doesn't matter.  I used the tummy the entire time.
