blood glucose meter

I am diabetic and I forgot my meter at home and one of my co-workers that is also diabetic offered me to use hers. I used a new lancelet and strip and used her meter. A couple hours later in an unrelated conversation she told me she had hepatitis when she was younger and now I am concerned with the risk of transmission. I was reading at the CDC website and they make is sound that is very possible.  Any wise word of advice?

I read the web site you posted and it clearly states that there can be contamination if you share the same lancet. However you used a new uncontaminated lancet so there is no chance of transmission. Breath easy - You are OK. - Fred

If you used a new lancelet I'm not sure how there would be any risk? Please point out where they say that on the CDC website.
