blood test results

Hubby will be having his weekly blood test done through quest is there a way we can request they get mailed to us as well as his doctor? Im not a big fan of his DR or staff but he likes them and since hes the one treating i guess thats what matters, another question he has type 2 diabetes he is on oral medication the med is Janumet Can having diabetes lessen your chance of svr?

About the medical records:
I believe lab results, film, images and the like can only be released to the Provider who requested them but the laws vary from state to state.

Here is this for Quest:

Next time your physician orders a lab test, ask your physician to indicate on the requisition that Quest Diagnostics should also send you a copy of the test results.

Most tests take between 1 to 10 days to complete.

If you want a copy of previous test results you can ask your physician to send you a copy.

Hi,
On lab order, underneath the code for the specific test, there is al list of stuff. Last on the list is instructions (on my order, anyway) Mine looks like this:
         Instructions:     Cc: Patient and PCP

And then, I point it out while at the lab.
