Hi Billy-
A few years ago I was about to have back surgery and the hospital did a pre surgery check up and ekg. They asked me if I had a heart attack and that the ekg showed damage.
I went to see the cardiologist who had done a stress test for me a few years back. He said that one of the leads to the machine often has errors and he suspected that was the problem. They did a stress test and another ekg and my doc was sure that I was fine and recommended the surgery.
Hopefully upon further investigation your doc will give you a clean bill of health.
Good luck with the stress test.
Dave
What does border line mean - slow heart beat with an elevated T wave?... There's actually not much to go on with what they have told you here. Perhaps they can set you up with a stress test for your heart and get precise information that may help with your decision on whether to tx or not. Just trying to say - need more info. Let us know,
Susan
billy...Both Inf and Riba can be contraindicated with someone with cardiovascular disease...hence them taking it further I imagine and doing a stress EKG.
