dealing with brain fog

Anyone have any strategies for dealing with or overcoming brain fog?  I finished 48 wks SOC at the end of last summer.  No brain fog at the beginning of treatment, but by last summer it was horrible.  Once treatment ended it got a little better, but am now about 10 months out and I'm still drifty as can be.
Case in point - went to the gym, was changing clothes and realized I had all my workout clothes except my sports bra.  A few days later was changing at the gym and this time didn't have my socks.  This morning I methodically packed my gym back - shoes-check, socks- check, shorts-check, sports bra-check, shirt-check, towel-check.  Mission accomplished.  Except I forgot the whole gym bag and left it at home.
I know on the overall scheme of things this is not a major problem, but I'm like this constantly and it's drivng me (and  my husband) crazy.  Does anyone have any suggestions for dealing with this?
Thanks.

forgot to say i just regressed all that damage in 1 year and a half, nothing makes cirrhosis regression so fast nor hbvSVR or entecavir antiviral

you should check if you have got liver damage and if you need to reverse that, this should be the most probable reason

i used to have it since i had advanced cirrhosis, fibroscan 16.2kpa and nodules and so on.i regressed it this way:

i used entecavir anitviral for hbv virus so making virus undetactable, this has no effect on liver but stops virus making other damage.cirrhosis regression is reported after 3-6 years of virus undetactable

i used hepatitistechnologies full pack products, brain fog gone by 4 weeks

i changed my diet with no fats, almost no meat, only black rice mixed with various vegetables and very little pasta, blueberries minumum daily 160-180gr plus mixed berries fruits and other fruits
no milk products, only very little milk mixed with 4-5 cups of coffee at breakfast

vitamin d 5000iu daily and vitamin E 800iu daily, omega 3 dha 900mg epa 1800mg

cirrhosis regressed to fibroscan 6.3kpa (probably already 5kpa now), fatty liver disappered, bmi from 26 to 20, cholesterol ldl 106 hdl 65 (previous ldl 170 hdl 43)

the main improvement since added hepatitistechnologies pack and changed diet to lose weight.from february to may decreased bmi to 20, lost fatty liver, fibroscan changed from 9.3kpa to 6kpa

we now look only for nodules to absorb and liver to become homegous form by ultrasound.as said previously brainfog just resolved by hepatitstechnologies product before reducing fibrosis to almost none now

I was beginning top think that the brain fog would be permanent, but about 10 months after tx, it seemed to start lifting - and now three months later, I have days when I think I'm pretty sharp even! Really, I work with proofreading and bookkeeping and thought I might have to find another line of work, it was that bad. Getting enough rest whatever way I can is a priority - or it's back to brain farts. Mental challenges - games, reading, good conversation, playing music, good nutrition, physical exercise - I do believe they can help. But it does really seem to come down to time - and patience - at least it did in my case. Hopefully you'll start sparking again soon. Best of luck to you! Pam

I fully understand, I've lived with that same thing for 33 yrs.  As soon as she gets home I'll ask her if she knows of anything that might help .

. I use to speak a sentence and the words came out all "

Oh my gosh Charm how many times I have gone to my boss and said the wrong words! Instead of saying "yes the report is ready" I'd say "yes I'll get the red balloon" and he would just look at me and drop his jaw open........I still do it sometimes get the days confused, say the wrong name I think he just thinks I am mental and there is nothing I can do about that!

What was I about to do? Where am I driving to?

It is much better but when I'm tired lookout it comes back in a flash.

Sorry to hear you going thru the symptoms of brain fog. I hope the fog lifts sooner than later. Unfortunately I had it thruout my55 weeks of tx. After tx I still had lingering effects for the longest time...It has gotten much better, and Im sure it will for you too.
Unfortunately for me the fog still lingers but nothing like it use to be. I use to speak a sentence and the words came out all jumbled...Then I would want to say something and couldnt find the word. ..
Like I said still happening but nothing like it was......

Again hoping the fog lifts soon.
