does anyone know anything you can do about the nausea

my husband is on triple therapy with incivek, and he  feels sick ( nausea) do you know of anything that will help with this feeling. He doesnt have this feeling all the time but today is a bad one.

Get his Dr to write him a script for Zofran.It works VERY well!!!!!It is what they give cancer patients for nausea caused from chemotherapy. cindy

i got too sick to smoke pot early on...of course this if probably the safest if your not too anemic...i wanted to do a little weed but at this point its zofran...oh well another strong prescription drug for my body...it does the job though....billy

Yes, Cindy is correct.
Zofran (Ondansetron ) is the med of choice for cancer patients and people with advanced liver disease also. It is used to prevent both nausea and vomiting. So it won't harm your liver should that be an issue.

My vote is for Zofran (8mg).  I had substantial nausea and vomiting.  In addition to the Zofran, I also have the patch behind the ear.  Unfortunately for me, the Zofran kept me from vomiting, but it didn't take the constant nausea away, hence two medications.

i know what you mean...when i start gagging its uncontrollable sometimes...its such a drag when the zofran isn't within grabbing distance....so now i bring it everywhere...there are lots of days now that i don't need it though....it was way worse during the incivek days.....billy
