Can a person go to school and become a nurse with hep c 1A??

Yes, Im a Respiratory Therapist, and I have Hep C 1a.  This is your personal health history and you can not be discriminated for it.  Hep C is only past thru blood to blood contact. I got this from working in the hospital due to a needle stick.  You dont have to disclose this info to an employer. You might have to for your health insurance, which is a good thing, you can then get treatment for the disease.  Good luck, hold your head high and carry on!! May God Bless You!

Yes! There are many health care professionals, even doctors and surgeons that are HCV positive that continue to work while infected.
