I'm sorry tx didn't work for you at this time!   After 48 wks of TX, I started to feel better almost immediately but I did have some weekends that were as if I was still taking my Friday night shot.  I would get a fairly high fever and would be weak and ill all weekend...that lasted about 4 weeks.  I also did get pains in my feet for the first month or so but it went away.  I suspect you will gradually feel better and better...just don't expect too much or worry when you have a bad day because the bad days will become less and less.  I wish you the best (and drink your water...lol).

Didn't have any side effects after treatment but did slowly and surely start to feel more like myself again - that was a good thing.

I'm sorry tx didn't work for you this time but next time with a PI on board it should/could be totally different.

Get well. Drink water and live as healthy as you can while the meds slowly leave your body.

I have also read that exercise regularly helps the body return to normal faster. Haven't experienced that yet, but it is in my game plan when I get done.

It's so different for each of us, depending on tx time, liver status, other health issues - to mention a few. One important thing I'll add is to stay hydrated - you'll need plenty of fluids to gently cleanse your system. I got really lax after I was done - just cuz I was tired of being so regimented for so long - and I payed the price with headaches. They soon subsided when I upped my water again.  Be kind to yourself and allow your body to heal on its own time frame. Hang in there and hoping these post-sx will lift soon.  Pam

My recovery after 48 weeks was a slow gradual return to my pre-tx health. I was pretty healthy before starting tx. I had lost alot of weight (which was a good thing), but it wasn't healthy weight loss. I'm a year past now and finally getting all my pre-tx energy back.

sorry for your results. that must hurt. as for sx, my non medical impression is that the sx will not change much from what u have had so far. if u are like me with rash and fatigue i expecct those to last a while but do not expect any new ones like tinnitus after tx. wishing u the best in your next steps, babs
