Is this wrong as I think

I am provided Pegintron/Rebitol for treatment but this is the second time my shipped meds (from RXCrossroads)(go to Dr in my name) have been given to someone else and I get samples (the pen) not prescribed and Copegus instead of Rebitrol. I called the company and they confirmed they had shipped my meds the 16th of July so they are going to call the DR. and see why I don't get what is being prescribed to me... What can I do? Warged

Given what has happened ... can you get the med's shipped to you?

The doc writes my script, Roche gets it on file, I schedule delivery ... to me.

Whoa. I wouldn't be able to contain myself honestly if it were me.

As trinity mentioned, it's probably also punishable by jail time, at least in the United States. I'd put a stop to it IMMEDIATELY, if not sooner.

As far as what you can do, I'd tell the doctor he can immediately replace the meds, and give the proper from now on, or you'll be paying the local health district a visit on your way home.

I'd also seriously look into getting another doctor. If this is indicative of how they conduct their practice, God only knows what other shenanigans go on.

Yes, that is most definitely wrong.  The pharmacy will have the shipping information and they can track the day, time and who signed for your meds at the doctors office.

I do believe it's against the law for your doctor to withhold your prescribed medications and give you another brand because even though they are the same thing YOU are the one paying for them and you should be receiving exactly what was ordered.

If it were me, I'd be chewing someone's a-ss out big time.
