fibromyalgia

i am having symptons like those of fibromyalgia, is this a common side effect while on tx?

yes, unfortunately that is one of the symptoms that can happen before, during or after tx.  Just one of the many symptoms on the HCV ala carte menu. It most likely will go away and then something else will probably replace it.

I have those symptoms and they stink!!!!  Savella has been working for a week now, doesn't mean it will continue ton work but for for now it is doing the trick!!

thank you for your response ,i am experencing soreness in the my joints and body aches ,flu like symptons. sometimes it hurts to the touch of my skin. i am drinking alot of water also.

If you mean soreness in the joints, I think that is fairly common while treating. If the soreness is so bad you can't move, you probably need to see a doctor.

Do make sure you are getting a lot of water while treating.  It is very important.Dehydration can do some wicked things and you need more water than usual while treating.
