Hey Tiger:  My direct bilirubin was 24 pre treatment (normal on the test I had was 18).  That was in April.. In July it was up to 32, but by Aug it was done to 24 again, then 24 and Last up Labs it was 23.  Dr doesn't seem worried so I haven't either.  Interesting you should have mentioned stone fragments.  I had gall bladder surgery in Jan.  I will see if I can get a copy of Labs done prior to that.  I'll let you know.

Alicio:  I, too, am Gt3! -or, I am praying, I WAS Gt3 : -), I treated with Sovaldi and Ribirin for 24 weeks.  (7 more weeks til Wk12EOT Labs).  I am not cirrhotic, but from Biopsy in !an (when had the gallbladder surgery) I AM (or was, if I am improving because of tx and liver friendly diet) stage F-3, level A-0/A-1.  That is why we went ahead with tx in June instead of waiting for the daclatasvir.

Is that available in the UK yet?  My Dr is really impressed w/it for Gt3s like us, BUT, he seems to think I may not need it!  I, of course am praying he is right.  I am continuing to hydration and liver friendly diet, hoping that that will help the liver to regenerate so that I improve instead of continuing to get worse.

Hang in there, Girl, this is doable.

Hey Alico..So happy you are finished with the Tx. I'm right behind you on the 14th of Jan. I know you will attain your SVR, I'm on the same Tx 24wks and sure was soooo much better than the inteferon poison I agree.
Take care and keep up the positive vibes

Hope your 12 week eot delivers good news.
Please may I ask if you have cirrhosis or not?
I'm doing a little chart to work out if this treatment works on cirrhotics , as I have cirrhosis.
Thanks
Alico xxx

Hey there.
Which combo were you on in the end???
24 week.. SOF and ribavirin ??? Not 12 week and no interferon or daclastivir etc????
I'm in uk too.. You in Scotland?
Have they obeyed that tx there then???
Are you cirrhotic?
And what was your fibroscan score and viral load.
Asking cos I'm geno 3 failed 4 years ago.. Cirrhotic and wondered if this may do the trick for me?
So glad you are in good shape post tx and sound optimistic etc.
All best and love
Alico

Geo:  Congratulations on finishing!  Like you, I finished (Dec 1st) and an waiting.  My Dr doesn't do 4 or 8 week EOTs so waiting for Wk 12.  Will say, that after the first week or so post tx, I do believe I am feeling better, and getting some strength back.  Sort of have to look at it in retrospect and from week compared to week.  Something for you to look forward to!

On my EOT Labs my bilirubin was still a little elevated, too to of range is  I have been meaning to look that up to see why, but haven't yet.  Maybe someone here can explain it.

Good luck - on to SVR!    Pat
