i ask this question a lot but do you or did you have a drinking problem? that can cause lots of pain ..for months after you quit..also i find with hep any change in diet can cause stuff to go on inside...billy
Smaller meals are helpful as well, taking time to chew food thoroughly to aid digestion. Yogurts (without the sweeteners) are soothing and easily digestible. And keep hydrated thoughout the day...water if possible...a slice of lemon in it is good too if your stomach can tolerate the acidity. Keep it simple and see it the pains subside.
Ideally eat foods high in carbs and lots of veggies. Avoid red meat. Good luck
Thank You for your comment :-)
Well the pains aren't really coming from your liver so to speak because it has no nerves inside it to sense pain. Most likely it's a form of IBS which hep patients frequently get. Try eating very bland food and things you know don't bother you for a while and see how that goes. Stay away from fried foods too.
