There is a very specific reason that the doctors insist you use TWO types of birth control while on treatment. Even touching the meds can lead to severe horrific birth defects in a child.

I would even wait a good amount of time AFTER you've treated to make good and damn sure those meds are out of your system. It's not fair to have a child knowing that most likely they will be severely deformed and live a life of disadvantage if they live at all...
NOBODY needs a baby that badley - treatment isn't forever it's 48 weeks for most.....

Ask the doctor how long you need to wait AFTER you finish.  It's NOT worth the risk.

She is in no way allowed to become pregnant while you are on treatment!!!

The drugs are very, very strong and the drugs can cause serious birth defects and death of the unborn child. It is advised to use two different contraceptives while on treatment.

Do NOT get her become pregnant until minimum 6 months after having completed treatment!!! You can read up on side effects etc on pegintron.com
