How do the tongue and pulse diagnoses of 'true' liver fire associated with HCV differ from liver fire symptoms manifested by most Americans due to lousy diet and lack of exercise? Also, if my Qi becomes damp and stagnant, is it enough to hang it out on the clothesline or should I use bleach?
In my opinion, you can not infect, because the the viruse will be transmitted through blood,
Hepatitis is most commonly caused by one of three viruses:
1. the hepatitis A virus
2. the hepatitis B virus
3. the hepatitis C virus
The concept of traditional Chinese medicine is that the stagnation of pathogenic damp and heat factors in the liver and the gallbladder influences and causes the spleen and stomach to become deficient. If this condition lasts for a long time, the stagnation of Qi and the depression of blood in the liver may occur.
Acupuncture therapy,Ear-acupuncture therapy,Herb therapy has effective for the hepatitis, which is natural and without side-effect
Hep C is only past thru blood. I would not worry if it was any other body fluid
The only way to get HCV is for infected blood to get into your bloodstream. HCV is not in saliva, but if he was bleeding and it mixed with the saliva then there would be virus in that mixture. The eye is not a gateway to the bloodstream. Infection doubtful, but if it bothers you get tested as Ozgirl suggested
If you knew he had HCV, why didn't you have eye safety eye wear on,you also should practice all dental procedures with safety, all the time, you wont allways know if someone has HCV or even HIV, there are many out there who don't know they have the viruses.
If you're worried, you can have a simple blood test done, but I'd think you're OK.
Good luck,~ Ozgirl
