increased anxiety

took shot 28/48 last fri; taking 1200 riba also. since fri night i have been experiencing some difficult anxiety that i have not had since starting tx. anybody know if this may be due to inf or riba? feel like i want to crawl out of my skin, also feel like something terrible is going to happen any second (not sure what). phone rings & i jump.  no real changes in my life/circumstance to account for this. called & spoke w/ study coordinator, she will speak w/ doc. anybody else experience this? anyone know of a non-benzodiazapine and non-ssri anti anxiety agent that works?

Hey girl how are you? You know on top of the meds we do have a real reason for anxiety. Change brings on anxiety and not knowing what the future holds does also. I worry that when I get off these meds it will be anti-climatic. You know, like I'll expect my life to suddenly turn perfect and it wasn't in the first place! You are agreat calming force for me, your picturesque descriptions and your tongue in cheek humor!
Be well,
Janice

I thought it was just me from upping my riba dose!  I've  started experiencing some axiety stuff too. I try to slow down my breath and like that cute ladybug says, hot baths help. Anything relaxing.
Wyntre, you are always show a positive attitude and are a great example. Just because we know its from side effects, doesn't stop us from feeling it.
p.s. I saw a red-shouldered and a sparrow hawk yesterday. Let your feathered friends lift you up.

"I get really upset coming to the boards and then I don't stay away either.  No one answers me half the time and then I have to go have a pity party. And I think I'm getting fat on top of everything! I'm trying to just get by but this is a hard day! Thanks for letting me vent, I need to go read a book and dry what's left of my hair."

Dear Ladybug.

I'm sooooo sorry you feel like that.

You know, I think you sound sooooo on top of everything, and confident, and strong.  And I guess I think of you as more experienced, only coz dumb me just started posting 2 months ago.

I can't thank you enough for all your funny, kind, caring comments.

What are you reading?  (I just finished "Of Human Bondage - hahahahaha.  All nearly 1,000 pages).

Uh-oh.  Guess that's Community-speak.

This has been a really rough day for me, too.
Also, I think for a couple of other folk, like DP, web52.

But, LB, just wanna let you know how very very much I appreciate you.

You're a kind soul.  As OH said in a lower thread, I try to stay positive but today I slipped up bug time.  (hahahaha - just caught that - meant BIG time)  It's posters like you who help bring others back on task.  (like that one, HT?  teacher-speak.)

YES, YES, YES, I think it was the inf, my doc gave me xanax to take as needed, it worked. I could not have made it through tx with out. now 5 weeks post and I have not needed one. Take care Pam

Any other recent changes is diet or habits? Like cut out smoking, caffeine, new diet supplements, vitamins, new protein drinks, exercise routine? Any other life changes in the family or work situations? Lots of stuff can cause anxiety and sometimes a combination of things can mount up on a person.  The answer is not always another pill, sometimes it is.

I am so glad that others know what I'm talking about! I just took a warm bath to try and calm down, but I have days where noise, smells, touch and the phone ringing, grate on my nerves. This is one of them. I do take clonazepam, in fact just took one, but I hate to take any more meds than I already do. I try to use them sparingly and they aren't very strong. As far as Buspar, someone mentioned that and that stuff makes me dizzy and nauseous. Can't imagine an anti-anxiety med that I don't get along with, but this one gave me a horrible reaction. And I kep trying it for a few weeks. Finally got where I couldn't hold up my head and the spinning was horrible. Just my experience. It's a safe drug even for pregnant women. Just not safe for the Ladybug!:)
