I did the GS-5885 for 12 weeks, no Rib or Peg. This is post failure with Danoprevir, Rib and Peg. Was <25 week 1 and UND week 2. I just went for my 4 week post and of course do not have the results, but I was told that everyone who completed their 12 post test was still SVR. Pretty awesome! I am just keeping fingers crossed. My 12 week post will be July 22. I think we are moving from Atlanta to Seattle in a few weeks and was informed today that Gilead will pay to fly me back for 12 week test and 24 week test. There were a lot of people on the study here. Some 12 weeks, some 24, some with Rib others without. I just did the 12 weeks of GS-5885 with no Rib an so far so good!

I began just the once a day GS-5885 on January 12, 2013. Was <25 week one and UND week two. Still UND at week 8. Monday will mark week 11 and the following Monday I go for week 12 assuming week 10 was still UND. I am only on the 12 week GS-5885 only Phase III trial. I am null responder to Danoprevir / Rib / Peg. So far so good....

Runingbrit and Adamben101, so glad to hear those words UND. Hopefully this will be the one that works for us all. I do not know if I could go through this a third time. My hat is off to all who have done TX 2, 3, and more times. What courage. I was on PEG/RIB gs-9451 200 mg daily and gs-5885 30mg daily. I was rvr at week 4 and stayed UND to week 24 and randomized to stop all meds. 1 month post TX on 3/28/12 still UND. Go in for 3 month post TX on 5/23/12. Still holding my breath too, but starting to turn blue. LOL.  On the EASL 2012 results for gs-7977 sucess,  gileal said that futher trials with gs-5885 the doseage would be 90 mg daily? Did anyone else see this or did I misunderstad it. My side effects have gotten much better after stopping tx, but still fighting depression. Please keep posting results. It is good to hear from others on same trial meds. Best to all. CT

Started with these drugs in all-oral study of 5885, 9190, 9451, and Riba.  UND within week 1.  Relapse at week 8.  Dropped 9190 and added PEG.  Now on rescue arm.  24 weeks of four drugs, and then dropped 5885 and 9451.  Now on week 31 of 48 total of rescue.  Been UND again since week 4 or 5 of the rescue.  I think with the initial all-oral stuff my entire treatment will be 56 weeks.  But I don't care if I can get rid of this.  And no real side effects for me to complain about.   Worst side was shortness of breath on 9190.  Once we dropped that at week 8 I feel fine.

Runningbrit, sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I had my 1 month post check on 3/28/12 and was still undetected. I also had a rvr within 2 weeks. Was randomized to stop at week 24. Go back in late May for 3 month post check. Stay in touch, would like to know how others are doing on this trial.  CT.

I am at week 22.  Waiting for week 20 results. Still not undetected so not too hopeful.  Quite a few people on this trial have done very well. Wishing you the same success.

If you're talking about the trial for tx naive, yes, I'm on it. Didn't go UND until Week 6, from VL 10.7 million on baseline day. Still UND at Week 16, but have to do Gilead drugs to Week 24,  then SOC until Week 48. Even though I'm a CC allele, my chance of SVR is reduced by not going UND until Week 6. Extremely bad sx, especially bone pain, anemia and skin issues. But I'm surviving. Won't do interferon again though, if I relapse or breakthrough. Will wait for a few years to see if something easier comes down the pipeline.

Yes I am on it (or was on it).   I had very fast results UND by week 3 less than 25 weeks  one and two from 2.8 million.   They rerandomized me to getting off at 3 months.   Now just waiting for SVR.   Will be tested for 1 month post treatment next week.   Are you on it.   How are you?
