Thanks to everyone who is answering me back, this site has actually helped me alot to just talk with others who have been thru or are going thru what I am up against. Its all thats on my mind and I find some peace in talking on her. I think the journal will help me get thru my own feelings too.
A lot of us live in the US and aren't around at those hours but we are here during the day........if you come back and want to talk we are around now.
We know it's scary what you are going through with your mom but there are many people in here who have been in the same situation and have treated and transplanted (well not MANY but one of my best friends anyway) and they are doing FABULOUSLY today, enjoying life and planning to live a long healthy one!
Learn all you can about the disease and it's treatments so you can help your mother. Get to a good doc (there are some crappy ones) and then ask questions there and in here. We all would do anything we can to help ease your mind and help your mother recover.
we too are/were just patients as well so we understand.
Best of luck.
I see from your other posts you are worried about your mother. I'm so sorry for what you must be going through right now. HCA gave you some good information on the other post which I'm sure you will see soon.
It's 4 a.m. where I'm at, and the chickens aren't even up yet. ;-) Just me, and I don't know very much about cirrhosis. Except that you can live with it a very long time.
Hang in there, be calm for your mother, and start getting information. You can get a lot of info at hcvsupport dot org And links to other websites from there, where you can get more info. This one doinks out links sometimes. Good luck, and prayers for you,
cathy
Welcome to the forum, I don't know if you can talk to someone, but you can ask a question.
