Yep, I strongly suspect it will be a non-issue. I know it was for me. I breezed through my second shot last night, and so far, 18 hours later, haven't had a single side effect except a little sweating earlier today, which is gone now.

Keep that positive attitude, it goes a long way in winning this fight - good luck!

Wishing you all the best with starting tx.

It will most probably be a total anti climax, but you will be so happy that you took the bull by the horn.

Good luck!

The Tylenol is a great idea. I wouldn't plan anything for this weekend, that way you won't feel you have to push yourself if you don't feel up to it. The immune response is hindered by stress, and you are starting down a long road to kill what has invaded your body... help it as much as you can.

Also drink plenty of water. It helps so much more than you will ever believe.

Good Luck!

Hi Missy—

We’ve had a number of folks in here recently that started and really haven’t had any significant issues. My personal experience was rather unremarkable; other than a um… whiskey-like hangover from the first shot. It pretty much resolved after a hot shower and some coffee, though.

Pop a couple of Tylenol (acetaminophen) an hour or so before your shot, and remember to stay hydrated.

Good luck, and let us know how things go for you,

Bill
