Though there could be lots of reasons. Those were the initial symptoms I had with perimenopause:

Perimenopause, also called the menopausal transition, is the interval in which a woman's body makes a natural shift from more-or-less regular cycles of ovulation and menstruation toward permanent infertility, or menopause.

Women start perimenopause at different ages. In your 40s, or even as early as your 30s, your may start noticing the signs. Your periods may become irregular — longer, shorter, heavier or lighter, sometimes more and sometimes less than 28 days apart.

You may also experience menopause-like symptoms, such as hot flashes, sleep problems and vaginal dryness. Treatments are available to help ease these symptoms.

Once you've gone through 12 consecutive months without a menstrual period, you've officially reached menopause, and the perimenopause period is over.

41 is certainly younger than average for starting menopause, but it can come quite early sometimes in women with serious medical problems. I was still trying to get pregnant in my mid-thirties when a fertility specialist ran all the tests and told me it was unlikely to work because my reproductive system was approaching menopause. It hit when I was 40 and was complete by the time I was 42. My doctors all were in agreement that this was unusual in the general population but not uncommon in women with serious medical conditions. I had quite a number of serious ones already then, and had already had 6 major operations in 3 different parts of my body by that time (I think I'm at 9 now). I'll be happy to exchange pm's with you if you want to talk in more detail about the problems of menopause.

hi and welcome! Have you had a blood test to confirm the start of menopause because you seem very young to be going through it but i know it happens? If not i would get one done. Are you going to start with the triple tx.? Post a few more details if you can, there is loads of people here who can offer not only sound advice but plenty of support for both of your symptons. Best of luck

I wish there were a thread or forum (within this one) where we could compare notes & experiences. The more I think on it I don't see how my HCV could be related to my HCV  but I can't help wonder if treatment triggered something. I will spare the detail but I think I know what you mean.

I would ask the stage of fibrosis you are or even probe more deeply but as the previous poster suggested what makes you think there may be a connection and possible symptoms would be a place to start. . .
