need some advice

I guess i was jumping the gun a little bit on my last post but I was just curious about the disease.. but over the weekend my friend and i each did a small line of cocaine using the same bill (my first and last time doing it) and he doesn't do it often.  he told me he was tested a few months ago for everything and negative. The medhelp doctor didn't even think I needed testing, the bill did not enter my nose and barely even touched it as I did not know what I was doing really and all of it did not go in my nose. I was not bleeding then or at all since, and neither was he, how risky was this encounter with regards to hepatitis?

Your risk was probably low...however good idea to stop this practice....it only takes once sometimes ...

http://addiction-dirkh.blogspot.com/2009/04/snorting-drugs-may-give-you-hepatitis-c.html

In the study of 38 intranasal drug users, all of whom had active Hepatitis C infections, “researchers found trace amounts of blood in 74 percent of mucus samples and on 8 percent of the straws used for sniffing. In addition, they detected HCV in 13 percent of mucus samples and on 5 percent of the straws.” The Hepatitis C virus is capable of surviving on surfaces for as long as 16 hours. The scientists conclude that the results, while preliminary, “lend important virological and clinical support to the intranasal HCV transmission hypothesis.”

thanks willbb, that was my first and last time doing that. i will probably not worry too much about it because hes a good buddy of mine and told me hes negative and probably is, plus the low risk to begin with.. i will probably just wait to get tested routinely for everything early next year. thanks

willbb,
great link

noxplode1,
since it was your first time, i doubt you have anything to be worried about, especially if he only has snorted coke/speed occasionally...doubt there would be any blood from him.
