I JUST FOUND OUT MY EX BOYFRIEND HAS HEPATITS C .. I WAS WITH HIM 6YRS AGO... IS THERE A CHANCE I COULD HAVE IT. AND SINCE THEN I HAD A BABY WHO TWO WITH MY NEW HUSBAND .. IS THERE A CHANCE WE CAN HAVE IT.. OR IS THERE A TIME FRAME..

i doubt it,  unless you had rough sex, where there was blood to blood contact.
this would involve both of you having open sores or wounds.

I have been infected for 30 years and my wife came  up negative, even though we had/have unprotected sex and have accidently used each others toothbrushes on many occassions.

You should go get the antibody test  though.  In fact you can find tests for the antibodies on the internet.  Thats what I did.

Even if the results are positive for the antibody,  you could still be clear as 15% manage to fight off the virus on their own, but still retain the antibodies.

If you do test positive for antibodies, you will then need to have your viral load measured.
If there is no virus present, you are in the clear.
