The Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Chinese governments (amongst others) don't recognise the patents for the new hepc drugs. Most of these drugs are legally available in generic form in those countries. Read the 'generic harvoni in India' thread for more info.
Hi David,
Look here,

Can you tell us a little bit more about your history and what drugs you have treated with.
I looked back at your previous post, and it appears that you were at Fibrosis Stage 3 a couple of years ago and that treated with Sofosbuvir and Ledispavir for 24 weeks.
Did that treatment not work for you? Did you relapse?
If you can tell us what happened, maybe we can help with more appropriate information.
What I can tell you, is that none of the new drugs (ie: the currently recommended treatment regimens) are generic yet. They are all new drug regimens and still under patent.
However, there are medication support programs to help people get the drugs for free or at reduced cost if necessary.
It would also help to know which state you live in and which large city you near near.
