should we continue consensu daily if..

my elder brother got hep c.he took first treatment with pegsys for six moonth at that time he developed symptoms like hyperactive and retless and use to talke alot.after that treatment his hepc stiil reactive,his psycological symptoms improved.
now  after 2 year his doc started him on dialy injection of consensu for three mont.after taking 3 week of injection his mental condition deterioting.he again became hyperactive.unable to go sleep at night,very talketive and not willing to take any phsyciatric mediicne.sometime up and some time going in to depression.
his is not taking any phsyciatric medication but still agree on interferon injection.his doc is saying thses are sideeffects of this therapy.my question is that if he is mentally deterioting and we are unable to convence him for physcuatric medication then should we continue this tretament or stop it.
what should we do.
kindley give me your expert opinion.

yes they are side effects and they will subside after treatment  it seems he is either genotype 2 or 3  if it were me i would continue with infergen if he can tolerate it  its only for a few more months

I would first Pray about it, the LORD will guide you.  I started some metal health meds before treatment just to get the depression undert control before the treatments. See if he is willing to do that..
