I have a few questions 1) question my periods are getting longer last month it was a month my Doctor gave me progesterone for two weeks to stop it and last year I had the DC ablation so my periods were 2 days and my right overy hurts so bad it makes my hip hurt. Has anyone else had problems like this and does it end. 2) question I have notice light fuzz of hair on my face not dark white what causes this and will it end after treatment? Drug company says they know nothing about this.

Thank you

Facial hair is very very VERY common while on treatment.  So are changes in your cycle (mine stopped completely while I was on the interferon but 72 weeks later when I stopped it came right back again).

As for complicating situations you should contact your doctor but in GENERAL both of the two things you mentionned at TOTALLY normal.

My diagnosos came about because of porphyria (PCT).  PCT causes excess facial hair and blisters on (for me) the hands.  The type of PCT I had / have is directly related to hep C.  Not saying that is your problem but I have tons of peach fuzz and it will not go away on its own.  Also the "change of life" will bring about facial hair on some like Rita said

Denise.

i did answer your post, i believe you need to see both your tx doctor and your ob/gyn.  Facial hair on women is a sign of the change, and change in your periods are also sign, whether they be longer or months apart.  Your ob/gyn can tell you if you are changing or if it is sides.

Sorry I can't help you I haven't had to concern myself with that for a long time now...
I know it can be frustating not to get any response for your questions though..
So I hope there are some women in the forum who can help you or try to ask the Doctors that are on the home page.
Good Luck
