I as far as you Hep c antibody test I do not know how to interpret you score did it say non reactive?
But anyway a couple of things about hep c
Hep c is generally not considered to be an STD although sexual transmission is possible especially for those with multiple sex partners, those who engage in rough sex practices, or in the presence of the HIV virus. The CDC does not suggest that long term managamous couples use barrier protection as in that situation transmission is very rare.
It can take as long as 6 months for antibodies to develop although they can appear sooner. You could have the test for the actual virus but generally that is done after a positive antibody test as the HCV RNA by PCR test is much more expensive. I have heard it costs if not covered by insurance about $400.
Hep c requires blood to blood contact hep c infected blood must enter your blood stream. Did you have an incident where blood to blood contact occured?
However, you best option to get real medical advise, information and diagnosis is to speak with a doctor as opposed to a patient forum of laypersons
