My hair loss stopped about 2 or 3 months after treatment and looked normal, full and healthy at the 5 or 6 month mark. Don't worry: your hair WILL grow back.

Thanks for the info. I am 7 wks post tx and am also still losing hair and beginning to wonder.

Funny part is the hair on my legs that finally is coming in strong? Comes in, and makes a "u" turn. kinda looks like velcro it is so curly. lol

Hi,
I hate to say this but I would say 8 weeks was about when mine stopped falling. Don't panic, it will be ok. Believe me my hair was so thin at that point especially on top. My hair is long and I just had to be patient. Probably some of your hair is about to start coming in but you can't see it yet. I have a lot of baby hair and get more all the time. You might want to try some volumizing shampoos and conditioners. Look for trial sizes so you can find one that helps. They help alot.. I also started blow drying it again to pump it up.  You may find that the ends and underneath part of your hair look fried or like cotton candy or cat hair. Try using a flat iron to smooth it out. (I don't mean ironing with a clothes iron :0). I never understood why the treatment would effect the ends of the hair I already had but it did. My hair was in great shape before the tx and why the tx effected the ends I don't know. They are improving a lot now so try to be patient. One thing that is real interesting is that I never had oily hair or skin. About six weeks after tx the oil glands came alive and my hair will get oily about two days after washing. I always brush it through to take advantage of the natural oil but it is weird. I also get oil in the t-zone on my face.

I take Biotin (the hair, skin and nails vitamin). My nails are awesome and no more ridges. I found that I have started growing hair in all the usual places and honestly during treatment I had no reason to shave anything, so it is a real change. I am five mos post tx and my hair is really coming in.The baby hair is kind of useful at this point it because it kind of puffs out the long stuff and makes it look like it is fuller (hehe).

Hang in there! Its all good from where you are!
