Thanks, Jimmy.  and you are right --- That was confusing.  I can see where CT was asking!  I would be, too, in those circumstances!

On to SVR, CT!

yes jimmy you have giot it i started interferon/ riba bout 18 month ago it was a 48 week tx when i got my eot results for that i had relapsed so we waited a cpl of month and statrted a 24 week sovaldi:riba tx but on day i started riba/sovaldi bloods were took and came back <12 hep c which means cleared so the confusion comes between treatments  doc thinks i maybe cleared myself inbetween bloods got sent to a geneoligist i think it was  and since they started it was lowered to 12 weeks tx  so had my 4 weeks post treatmne n still looking good and bloods seem to be evening out will never b perfect due to cirhossis  thanks every one

Pat,  I read through celtictiger67 prior posts.  As I understand it
August 2014. 12 weeks after completion of INF/RBV virus was detected (relapsed) but I couldn't find any mention of the viral load.

Early October there was some confusion on what retreatment drugs would be used,  but on October 9 SOV/RBV was started.  It appears that the viral load at treatment start was <12 and undected at 2 weeks.  Because of this it was mentioned that the 3 month EOT VL INF/RBV could have been incorrect and the SOV/RBV would only be for 12 weeks.

celtictiger67 is asking for comments regarding blood work. without knowning reference range for some results it may be harder especially if different from the ones we are used to in the USA.

This is my interpretation and subject to correction.

Of course we all anticipate undected SVR at
at 12 week post EOT.

Jimmy:  We Genotype 3s take/took Socaldi/Ribavirin for 24 weeks.  We are currently the hardest to SVR, so they are going longer on the tx.

I believe I read on another thread that they are considering Harvoni with Ribavirin, but am not sure and that is not protocol!

I am waiting for EOT12 Labs on 2/25 to see if I have reached SVR?

CTiger:  Did you say you have had 12 weeks and another 12 to go?  Or that you were on 12 weeks and Undetected as after 4 weeks od treayment , or 4 weeks after End of Treatment?

At any rate, congratulations oN your UND

Yes confusing
This is how I understood it.
Genotype 3
Sovaldi/ribavarin was taken for 12 weeks.
Readings above were taken 4 weeks (post) after end of treatment.

yes i think reference ranges r dif in uk but that was always the way i got told so i dont know the  units also i was on interferon n riba for 48 weeks n at 12 weeks hep c was back so bout 2 month later was meant to b on 24 weeks  sovaldi/riba  but day i got started they took bloods and hep c was <12 undetected  so they somehow think i cleared it  inbetween that time hence 12 weeks  fibroscan after first tx was 26.3
                         cheers

Best wishes for 12 week SVR post tx.  Surprised not 24 weeks for GT3 as in US, alternative with SOV RBV INF 12 weeks.

I see you are from United Kingdom. Do you know your reference range High & Low for Albumin, Billirubin, AST, ALT  and Iron?  The units and measurements could be different than the USA.
