Ribaviren is not much fun as I also took the same treatment and know what your feeling. Sandys right. Eat small meals throughout the day to avoid stomach distress. H2O of course. I drank ginger ale which is not advised, but helped with my stomach woes.
It will all be over before you know it!

That is ok, that is why we are here. Try distilled water, put it in a nalgene bottle with measurements. I drank 90 ounces a day, 3 bottles, because I wanted my morning coffee. Try ginger snaps, they help with indigestion too. I also candied my own ginger to nibble on. They never talk about how harsh ribavirin is. Take extra good care of your teeth also with biotine products.
No one has ever mentioned snacking. I am trying to drink more water but don't do so good with it. I'm not too happy with my doctor. He doesn't seem to have much time for questions and this is all new to me. Diagnosed in April started meds in May, but infected thru blood transfusion in 1981 when I had my son.
I took those meds along with interferon. Make sure you are snacking all the time, and drinking plenty of water all the time, that seemed to take care of most issues. Healthy snacks with good fats in them, nuts, cheese, coconut oil mixed in hot cereal. It did seem to cause some gas, ribavirin can be hard on the system. You are taking it after eating, right? And the water, half your body weight in ounces, so 160 lbs = 80 ounces, plus more if you drink any caffiene or carbonated drinks.
