Post TX blues - 10 weeks POST Sovaldi + Olysio + rIBA

HI _ I also took this therapy and I had a tough time.  Now I am about 21/2 months post and I still have days where i feel brain fog and fatigue and liver pain.  At the 8 week post tx i was still clear.  Its only been two weeks but I feel horrible for about three  days now. Anybody feel this way post tx and still have SVR.  Even though my last BW was only 2 weeks ago and I still tested negative - I feel very not right.

All help appreciated

Adam

What Dee wrote is true, my nurse said it can take up to a year for the drugs to get out of your system. I thought I would be feeling so much better right away, but it really was 3 months eot before I even started feeling better. It really is important to keep up with drinking lots of water, and keeping your diet good. Ask your doctor about a multi vitamin too. I took one for a short while after eot just to sort of kick start my energy. My mental energy returned first, my physical energy second, and am still working on my emotional energy. Concentrate on the positive things, it is natural to be anxious about being SVR, I think we all felt that way. Hang in there, it is ok to whine and vent to us, we have been there.

I forgot to mention you may want to add fiber to your diet. I found that and probiotics helped me

Hi there...what you are feeling is normal. The Riba can take up to 6 months to completely leave the body. Try to drink as much water as you can.  Try to go for some short walks to help the body process the riba.  Hang in there it will improve.  You are not alone
