treatment genotype6

Internation recommend treatment genotype6 is sofosbuvir/ledipasvir(_+RBV)or pegifat +RBV+sofosbuvir but ledipasvir is not avavilable in my country can i only treat with sofosbuvir and RBV?

Since the alternative treatment includes Interferon, (Sovaldi + ribavirin + PEG*** for 12 weeks). I'm really not sure how effective treatment will be without it. (PEG). Hopefully her doctor can answer that as Ribavirin can cause problems.

Genotype 6 is not common in the U S. So we don't see it here very often, wishing you and your mother the very best.

I live southeast Asia Burma country my mother has genotype6 her age is over 70 she is ineligible to recelive an interferon i know treatment with harvoni is the best for her but harvoni isnot avilable in my country so i want to know can she treatment with sofosbuvir and RBV?

This genotype is common in south China, Hong Kong and other southeast Asian countries
