Interferon+riba

I am a guy from Finland and I start my interferon + riba day after tomorrow. My genotype is 1b. I am nervous about side effects. I hope that they are not hard for me. Have a good summer everybody!

I'm 1a too. I'm at week 8. Body aches, head aches, fever a couple of times, fatigue, ringing ears , and nausea in the afternoons the past couple of weeks.

It doesn't feel great, but it is doable so far... still working, just forget weekends for the next year and you'll be fine... that is if you do your shot on Fridays.

Hoping your sides are light and few as well.

Just remember to hang in there - treatment can be very rough but it does have an end date....it's not forever but it can save your life so as hard as it gets just don't give up!

Hey jani73-  whazzzzup?  You're a geno 1, you got hep c, right.  You're all the way over in Finland.  Glad you found this website, many people here to help with support and ask questions.  The side effects didn't seem to bother me too much.  Good Luck with your tx.  Cory.
