Hi I am also from Toronto,Welcome!I live in US now but remember Toronto general is definitely the best teaching hospital , has large transplant program  as Willb already said. where u would find best hepatologists to receive best care.If you can it would be worth to wait for that place.Good luck.Keep us posted of your progress.

Hi there..

I am from Tor. IF you are currently being seen by a GP ask them to refer you to the "Toronto general Hospital" (Liver transplant center and Teaching Division)
It is a top notch center.

The wait might be relatively long and if so ask you doctor to refer you to a Gastro that is knowledgeable about HCV and the treatment paradigms for such..

Good luck and let me know if you need any further help..

Welcome to another from the "Planet Canada...
