Look both of those terms up on the internet. I recently looked up fatty liver and yes, it creates a problem with liver function. I think losing weight (if that contributed to the cause) or resolving the hepatitis would fix it; no other medical or ************** available. I had it on biopsy also.
my biopsy says moderate steatohepatitis and focal minimal pericellular fibrosis
Fatty liver is not really fat..like it is around other organs like the heart and such...it dosent accumulate on the outside .the fat is right into the liver cells and tuns the liver a tan yellow color.....i have mild fatty liver...at least i did back in 2006...ive lost weight since then and went tru 2 TX...maybe ive improved....its wise to lose weight befor starting TX..it helps the TX drugs to work better
Steatohepatitis is also known as ‘fatty liver’. Depending on the severity, a doctor might suggest losing a little weight; I don’t know how they intervene if it requires intervention, though. What does your doctor say about this?
