I'm sorry I lost my name. I'm still here. I have been a veggie for 42 years. My password didn't work. It was very strange, but I wanted to come back. All the Grandma's and Nana's were taken. I know lots of vegetarians.

I finished tx 6 1/2 weeks ago and I won't be on here much longer. I get my 3 mo. PCR Dec. 15. and my 6 mos. PCR in March and I'm done.

thanks sweetie - it is very confusing for me too...I came here the other day and saw veggie posts all over the place and thought I was losing my mind - but I guess some people do really give a hoot about stuff like that...grandma veggie is a good idea - but I am sure it fell on deaf ears...

I have NOT picked on anyone here - I told the poster that is using the name veggie it confused me that they were using a name I have had for most of my adult life - and obviously it did not only confuse me because a few others spoke up as well..But, this is of course - NONE of your business

But I know grandma didn't mean anything by it.  She just finished 60 weeks of TX and if she could have signed on with grandma, she would have.  I'm sure she had no idea the moniker 'veggie' was spoken for.  (nor did I)

I did get my dander up a bit coz she's such a nice person . . .

If you go searching in the archives for veggie and you will get another person.  Not everyone will know that they are different people.   Google: medhelp texmikel veggie you will get a thread that is old but a different user is being mentioned.  Not the lady going by veggie now.  See how things can get confusing?

hey guys, like the both of you - so please don't get riled...but how can all of us know if we are using prior names that someone else has used? I don't know that everyone would even think to do a search on a name they want to use. Psp is not using this name anymore, she's got another name now.

On the other hand, maybe Grandma can think of another name to use if she wants. But Grandma is a really nice member, I just don't want that fact to get lost in all of this. I don't see a mean bone in her body. She didn't know that Psp had used this name before. Now she's talking about leaving the forum because she probably has never been in a spat with anyone here. She's been through a lot. So have you guys, I know that. So maybe just everyone calm down about this. Everyone is a nice person here in this thread.

I know you have made many changes here, and that's great, but I also think it affords you more control? Perhaps there can be some way within the software, or some safeguard, that can tell people if a name has been used before, so there won't be these problems in the future. Just a gentle suggestion. I am glad you thought about it. Beth aka Veggie is a doll and is in no way trying to cause anyone problems. My Congrats to Grandma for doing tx, and I hope se does not leave over this..

just hoping to resolve an issue for the betterment of everyone, that's all...I thought it was your name on here too...know it's not my business, but Grandma is a nice person, who never said a mean word to anyone...here's hoping you well, I'm out of this now too...I really think there should be some safeguard on Medhelp to make sure this doesn't happen. Maybe there is already.
