Can I do the happy dance now!

I couldn't wait until tomorrow so I wrote to my hepc nurse and she was kind enough to take the time and check.... My viral load hasn't arrived yet but she got a verbal confirmation I'm "NOT DETECTABLE"

This is good news Right!

G3 Did sol/rib 24 weeks.  EOT was Aug 21.  Nov 24 = 12 weeks end of treatment = not detectable!!! I'm at work and crying of joy (alone) I still can't believe it!

Congratulations Mona! Another dragon is slain! I also had the 24 week EOT test just to be doubly sure! I had the doctor printout the test results too. Wow! 24 weeks! Amazing!

Still...isn't it wonderful to have that confirmation?

My Dr and I feel the same as you & yours.  I will have the 12 week EOT (praying for SVR - and not only for me, but for everyone!), but if still no relapse, then the 24 week EOT to be sure.  We Gt3s are hard to cure and hardheaded! lol

Went to see the nurse and doctor this morning. The nurse was very please with all my results , alt ...first time they are so low in years!

I have my next appointment in  March for SVR 24 weeks than and only than We can say the Cure word.

I am their only genotype 3! I feel very special!!! I ask the doctor if they give a Cure certificat! That made him laugh . Following the March appointment and if I'm still SVR I will see him for the next 2 years every 6 months and I should have a fibroscan before the end of the 2 years.

I'm still in shock !!!

I'm still on shock. I still can't believe it . I feel free! I stop crying for now! I have been focusing on hepc for so long. I will be so happy to see the doctor Tomorrow and the first think I ask: Are we sure about this? I want a verbal and visual confirmation ...

Oh, Mona , by all means, do your happy dance!  And you are not crying alone - just not in the same room!!  I teared up the minute I read your post.  I, too, am Gt3 and know exactly what you have been through - and am hoping I will be getting my SVR in 12 weeks.  Just had my EOT Labs drawn today (last pills Mon, 12-3).

So excited for you.  Now get ready to climb that final step up onto the dais and receive your Dragon Slayer Supreme Insignia.

Oh, and thanks for opening up a seat on the waiting bench for me.  : -).

Congratulations!  Now think of something special to you to do to celebrate!!!!!!!!                   Pat
