I was just kidding with that last guess. It's really your good friend Josh Boger. I see you don't have him wearing a vest.
Yup, that's Donnie Osmond. You are sharing friends with NYGirl.
My bad. Pretty funny though.
Where is it? LOL!
Is that your Anchortown relative? It's so small... the picture...LOL!
I see you hanging on for dear life tho! LMAO! Whatchu fishing for? Just came back with 80 lbs of Halibut... I love halibut poppers:
Meki's Halibut Popper Recipe
Halibut sliced into thin 1/2 inch thick strips---2 1/2 inches long
Lumpia Wrappers (Asian food refrigerated/frozen aisle) You can use eggroll wrappers too.
Green Chiles whole - slice them lengthwise into 1/2 thick strips
Cream Cheese
Lemon Pepper, Salt
Place Wrapper down on clean counter - put a dollop of cream cheese, 1 slice of halibut, 1 slice green chile, sprinkle lemon pepper and salt (very very lightly), roll up the wrapper according to wrapper directions...
Deep fry or fry in pan until wrapper is light brown.
EAT! (Product may be hot... LOL!)
If you want them to stay crispy after they cool down - stand them on their ends in a strainer after you take them out of the fryer.
YUMMMMMMMMMMMM
OK - so looks like yer havin' fun! I gotta go eat now... LOL!
Meki
After reading your comments on other threads, Josh really IS your best friend now. At least for another 14 weeks or so. Wild ride, huh? Red sky tonight for you.
Mmmm…. marry me, PLEEEASE? (Sounds delicious, Meki).
I thought you were watching your weight. Does sound good, though!
I need more of your humor. I definitely had a meltdown over the last two weeks. Just starting to feel better now after taking lorazipam for a few days.
Thanks for the laughs. The guy in the picture is a famous movie/television star, so I am surprised no one recognizes him..
We are sailing just off Westport CT in a nice evening breeze.
Im a big fan of lorazopam, it really helped to keep my nerves down and slowed down my racing mind during tx.
I'll take a stab, Bruce Dern?
How's that for some guesses to boost your ego? :)
Susan
I *am* watching my weight. As a matter of fact, I can see it quite well lately... :o(
How the heck are you doing, my friend? I imagine you're approaching D-day soon now. How's your spirits holding up? One thing about treating multiple times is that after the first go-around, we know that there is life after treatment.
I felt really good through the first 32 or 33 weeks this time; I'm currently 47/72, and it's beginning to take it's toll. I don't lay in bed during the day, but sometimes I'm not acomplishing much else either. I've got a class 4 days a week starting later this month; maybe that'll get me moving a little bit, eh? I post infrequently lately because it's kinda difficult for me to take a cheerful position, and I also have some cognitive difficulties. I used to enjoy lively debates in here; now they feel more like argument sans civility. I'm sure this is my own subjective view of things, but it doesn't make it any easier to participate.
Again, I want to wish you well in the upcoming weeks; it's been a pleasure to get to know you over the last couple of years. I hope Mrs FL and kids are hanging in there as well- I'm sure this is an exercise in patience for them as well.
Peace to you, and take care--
Bill
oh! sorry Andiamo, but he looks kinda frightened! had you just popped-a-wheelie before your wife took the pic??? :))
In a few minutes, it will be 5 more to go and I'm feeling pretty good about that. Domestic tranquility requires a lot of focus. We have a small 'getaway' that has been very valuable in the dog weeks of tx. This weekend it's me home with the dogs and some rodent-animal that were are baby sitting. At least the dogs like me. My kids think it's because I wear a dog biscuit necklace, Mrs FL thinks it's because dogs like nasty smells. Anyway, bliss will return - none too soon.
Taking a class is a good idea. I'm a firm believer in staying busy and pushing the physical and mental capacities envelopes. Got to keep up challenges. Tx is as much about your head as it is the physical effects, I think. Continued good luck, Bill, you are on the downhill slope.
I guess John Lithgow is not as famous as I though he was - oh well. He was the star of Third rock on TV and many movies. He played the 6'2" crazy lady in Catch 22. Many other movies as well.
I will go back to my original picture.
John Lithgow is a great stage, television and film actor. anyway, hope youre feeling better these days!
John Lithgow is a great actor!!!...i like his soup commercials! =)
meki that recipe sounds yummy...it actually made me hungry, something i haven't felt in a few weeks....now i'm gonna go scrounge for some food!!!LOL...
to all have a wonderful weekend...
blessings, Julie
John does his best work when he's playing a sinister character - in my opinion. Mike
I love john lithgow he cracks me up with his expressions..there was a kind of scrary movie he was in and he p;ayed it great..man i wish i could remember the name..he is also great in the theater.....Are you friends with him?
J. Lithgow: I didn't recognise him at first...but now that you told us, I can see that it is him clearly. I think he is a great actor and so funny! Is he a buddy of yours? I'm glad to hear that the lorazopam is helping. I haven't been writing much 'cause of the fog...but I am reading and keeping tabs on everyone. The Lord willing...a day of sailing is in my future...Hey, would you invite John? Is he single? lol
