Week 36 Labs - Still UND
UND @ 4, 12, 24 and now 36. Interferon and 600 mg Riba since week 8; treated with Incivek.
ALT/AST - 31/26
HGB - 12.5
Plt - 113
ANC/WBC - 1.2/2.3
The incivek was tough, but it is over and it worked (so far). Worth the sx if you can make it. I did get used to ice cream every night at 10 and that habit is hard to break.
I am managing for the most part well. If I stay busy, it helps my attitude. The Hgb and Riba level have made the difference I believe. I treated in 2006 with Interferon and Riba @1200 and was on procrit.
All the success indicators are there and am counting off the duration. 11 shots and 12 weeks of pills.

Yes, still at 600; we talk about this at each appointment. He strongly beleives the literature supports reduced riba after und at 4 weeks will not reduce SVR. It has allowed me to function.
I am glad that I treated before, but it would have been nice to do 24 one time instead of 26 and 48.

I can't believe you are still on 600mg riba with hgb of 12.5! Last time you were a partial responder -- so you never cleared? That makes this treatment all the better. These PI's are amazing.
