gagging and heaving

I have started to gag, alot. It strange. I almost choke once I've gagged too.

I don't feel sick when i gag. The worst cause is when Im out walking and the wind hits me or when i laugh.

I have a hiatus hernia and acid reflux. Is this gagging anything to do with the hernia?

The gagging could be due to acid reflux, this can irritate the throat and cause spasms. It can sometimes be a reaction to cold weather. It can also happen due to iron deficiency anemia causing Plummer-Vinson syndrome, where there are changes to the soft lining of the throat. Discuss these options with your doctor when you happen to meet him next time.
