A bit strange?

Hi all. Ok so as explained in an earlier post.. I had a one night stand, a week later I was very ill. Doctor put it down to tonsillitis and chlamydia. I didn't think this was right and had a swab taken from my tounge to test for herpes type 2 which came back positive. I was obviously devastated. The only reason I thought it was herpes was because I had blisters on the back of my tounge and on my penis. They appeared 2 weeks after having sex with the girl. This was 11 weeks ago and they are still there (on tounge and penis). My doctor has said the tiny tiny white dots on my penis is pearly penile papules and the bumps on my tounge is inflamed tounge papillae? I've never had either of these before, there is nothing linking these with herpes as much as I've researched it anyway?

Is it just coincidence??  I'm really worried.

Herpes wouldn't cause either. Did you give that partner oral sex? Was the sex unprotected?
