Abnormal Symptoms

In December I began to experience some complications with my penis. There was a burning sensation inside of my penis and an itchy feeling around the tip. I had three herpes outbreaks back to back, so I figured there must have been something else causing the outbreaks. I went to the clinic and had a swab test done that came back negative for chlamydia and gonorrhea. I stopped drinking coffee subsequently, and the sensation went away.

Just recently the sysmptoms came back, but had worsened. Now there was frequent urination, and a leaking of urine that progressed into what looks like semen. I had another test done that I paid for that came back negative as well.

One day I worked 20 hrs straight. Towards the end I began to feel abnormal sensitivity at the tip of my penis. There was waht appeared to be a bruise that wa slight elevated near the tip. I went to the doctor immediately and she did a urine analysis that came back negative for any kind of bacteria. She suspects that its just the herpes causing theses symptoms. The bruise went away without any outbreak at that site.

I've had herpes since I was 15 and I'm now 30. In those 15 years I've never experienced anything like this. But it doesn't look like its going to stop anytime soon. Do you think herpes could be causing the frequent urination and leakage?

like I said, it's time for an urologist.

I've never taken any suppressive medicine and never really had to. Every three or four months I would have a minor outbreak that would subside after a few days. That's why when I had the three outbreaks back to back it scared me. The only time I have outbreaks outside of that cycle is when something has been introduced to my body that causes a bad reaction.

On another note, the doctor that attributed the symptoms to herpes said that the fluid I'm leaking looked like semen.

I suggest you see an urologist at this point. this is not anything common with genital herpes.

do you take daily suppressive therapy to keep your herpes under control?

Doubtful Herpes is the cause.  You need to be seen by your doctor for a proper workup.  Chances are this is something other then your genital herpes.
