Abnormal herpes?

I've gotten tested for both before so I know I am free from any prior experiences.

Recently, I had protected sex and oral (where she put the condom in her mouth and unraveled it).

I've been checking everyday for about 7-8 days after the incident.  I slowed it down to every other day afterwards.

On day 11-12, I noticed three black scab areas on three different areas of my penis.  Two of them feel rough if you really stretch the skin apart but I can't seem to pick it away.  I'm not really sure if they have pre-existed prior to the incident.

The third seemed to be more prominent the day after I noticed and I was able to pick it away and I believe it was some sort of scab.  It was black so I assume blood dried.  It was located pretty high up on the shaft where the condom condom covered it.  The area left isn't pink but there seems to be a secondary scab there.

Could this have been an extremely mild case of herpes?  I must admit I focused more on the bottom of my shaft versus other areas since those were the exposed areas but I def. kept an eye out everywhere for good measure.  Never felt any pain or discomfort.

Given the sex was protected. You would expect the outbreak to emerge from an unprotected area and not the protected area. The virus infects the nerve ending and causes sores where it enters.

Your sores are not overly suggestive of herpes. Follow up with testing at 12 weeks if you have concerns, but there's plenty of evidence here to suggest this is not herpes.

I think that is a very sensible interpretation!

I guess I might for good assurance but I generally hate getting hsv tests ever since I had a false positive incident a while back.

But seeing as this seemed to occur and finish within 48-72 hours in a covered area without and obvious lesions, I'm not sure if I should be concerned.

Also, when I say different areas...I mean they are in isolated locations.  Each are an 1in+ away from each other.
