Accuracy of Bioplex Multi Flo Herpes Blood Test

Hello,
10 months ago I received  unprotected oral sex from someone I didn't really know.  I'm also afraid there may have been brief genital contact before I pushed her off my lap. Within a few hours of this contact I started to feel pain at the tip of my penis with no visual signs.  Feeling something was terribly wrong I told my partner and she convinced me to see a doc, so I went and had a complete STD workup done within a week of contact.  After much research I now realize that HSV would probably not show up that soon.  So after three weeks or so, the pain in my penis went away and I thought nothing else of it.   Seven months after contact I started having discomfort/iritation at the tip of my penis with redness.  I went back to the Doc to have more blood work done. They administered the BioPlex Multiplex Flow Immunoassay IGG herpes test.  It came back negative for both HSV-1 and HSV-2.  I've seen 3 different doctors and 2 different dermatologists and none can give me any answers.  The redness and irritation appeared 5 months ago and has never really gone away, just goes through periods of being a little better or a little worse. Well I've now noticed for about the past month after sex the skin on the head of my penis gets blotchy with red spots, which go away when the erection is gone.
I have a very active sex life with my current partner and she has had no symptoms at all.
I just received my third BioPlex IGG test results yesterday (10 months after suspected infection) and they were negative for HSV-1 and HSV-2.  All the Docs are telling me the same thing that they are ruling herpes out, because they have never seen HSV present itself like this, and that the symptoms wouldn't be continuous for 5 months. Last month I had a blister inside my mouth, but didn't really think much of it as I have always got those from time to time.  My question is how accurate is the BioPlex MIA IGG test?  I know something is wrong, I just wish I had answers.  Thank you for your time.

None of the Docs even mentioned the prostate.  Kind of scary though, my father and his younger brother have both been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and I'm at the age where you should start getting tested. I didnt realize a prostate problem could have these kind of symptoms. I've had this issue now for 5 months with it never completely going away and its gradually getting worse especially after sex.  The docs, much like you, recommened against any further blood testing for HSV.  I'm just terrified its misdiagnosed HSV. I go see a Urologist next week and maybe he can shed some light.

none of your symptoms sound like herpes. no reason to doubt your continued negative test results.

did they manually inspect your prostate?
