Hair can act as a barrier preventing the virus from entering and getting a handjob is zero risk.
Would love thoughts from anyone
Just typing here to try and let out some stress. This has me very worried, although from what I'm reading it sounds more and more like some other kind of infection or something, which is kind of relieving. The doc says I have 2 weeks until I get my results ... that's going to be a long two weeks.
Can anyone tell me how common it is for those who go through their first outbreak to experience flu symptoms, swollen nymphodes, itchiness and pain and having it hurt to urinate? I don't feel any of these... although sometimes I think there is a slight tingle but I feel like that could be my mind conjuring it up.
I haven't seen any new bumps develop, just the 2 and the base (in the hair) and one along the shaft. Although these don't appear to be getting worse, they also don't appear to be getting any better.
Any reassurance would be wonderful.
I pray that is all this is..
Thank you for taking the time to reply.
I'm curious to know if its possible that this is something else that just appears like herpes, perhaps some kind of infection or reaction to something. After the encounter I was travelling for a week and stay in a couple different hotels, used public washrooms, swam in public pools, used different soaps than I was used to, etc...
Any thoughts?
Your correct its not transmitted by hand The only real risk would be if she had herpes whitlow, which is hand herpes but with whitlow she would not give you a handjob as the finger pain would be unbearable. Also since she has it genital, spitting would not be a issue as its not in the oral area. If your test comes back positive it would not be from that affair as there was no risk. Also you tested to early as only 8 weeks post exposure would be a good indicator.
I should add that I did not noticed any symptoms on her and asked her today if she was showing any symptoms when we fooled around and she told me no.
