HSV 1 IGG,HERPESELECT TYPE SPECIFIC AB

I was recently tested and got  >5.00 on this. It says that >1.10 is positive. I have never had any symtoms and wonder what this means.

I am like the othes posting that I have 5.0 on test for HSV 1IGG ab. My question my gf has, can it transmitted to her when performing oral on her, even if I don't have an outbreak or a tickle or whatever visible. And of course no open cuts in mouth either..is it possible and should that be discontinued between us from now on?

Can you recall ever having a cold sore?  Oral herpes is incredibly common. www.ashastd.org has more info on hsv1 orally  under their herpes section for more reading.
