Burning from Herpes antivirals

I get a burning in my skin and any little scratch turns bright red when i take Valtrex or Famvir do you think i will have the same thing if i try Acylovir?

I'd post your whole story to Terri Warren here on medhelp. You have to pay to post to her but it sounds like it'd be worthwhile to do so. she's our herpes specialist here and wrote "the good news about the bad news" book on herpes.

valclovir is valtrex.

NO more burning when i stopped the antivirals. The only one i haven't tried is the Valclovir do you think that would do the same thing?
I've had blood tests, cystoscopy, nerve tests. Everything was fine because i know its from the Herpes and i don't know what else to do if i cant take the medicine.

did you continue to have this burning sensation after you stopped antivirals?  You never updated your prior post on this .

what other sort of work up  have you had done since last november?
