hsv 2 no ob...
Dear all,
I'm really sad and confuse at the moment. I have been tested in january for hsv 2 and the result :
Positive (1.14) hsv 2 igm. Negative for igg
On march i tested again for igg still negative Igg (0,28) And igm borderline 0,88
I tested in october my igg n igm for hsv 2 around 4,5 both of them.
We are married since april without knoeing my husband's result.My husband tested also in april positive for hsv2 30ru/ml (I just took it in oct). Where 22 is positif and below 16 is negative. He never tested before,but He said he Got first ob when he was with me. He never had an ob before.
Base on this story. What possibly happen to us? I want to hv a baby i'm worried if there's something wrong if i'm pregnant. I'm so desperate and need solution. In our country knowledge of hsv is very minimum. Please help.....i'm feeling down

Yes, he tested but he never take the result. He said its possible that i transmitted to him. Is it possible if i was igg negative 0.28 in january and march Transmitted this to him. I only have 1 partner and its only him during this 3 years We only hv intercourse after marriage. I was virgin before and only had 4 sex partner before without intercourse. I'm not trying to blame this to my husband but obviously this is coming from him base on the test. am i right?
I went to 3 gynecologist When my igm positive appear,they said i got hsv2. While in the other hand i read ur posts that igm is not accurate. So i retest until my igg appear in october. Then i'm sure i got this. Never had ob, but it can be asymtomatic.
We dont have any support group in my country. Can u recommend any support group maybe in singapore,indonesia,malaysia? Or any hospital that u know that they can help me in these 3 countries? I asked them the type of the test is elisa Method.
I have read some herpes publishing that Cervix is one of high target area. Its is probably only my paranoid thought but if it is inside the cervix what kind of symptom may appear? Thanks grace for your respond and kindness

since you aren't in the US, I"m pretty limited in how I can help you with herpes test results. I recommend you find a support group in your area that has someone educated in herpes testing to help you more with what your testing options are.

really, I can't help you with the test results since you aren't utilizing testing we use commonly in the US. I am not aware of the false positive issues or accuracy of the testing you had done.
