Could I still have Herpes after being tested twice?

Please if anyone could help, I recently had unprotected sex with someone 6 weeks exactly to the date apparently he has herpes for I saw he is prescribed medicine for herpes infection and it is for a longer duration so I know its not for cold sores. When I asked he said he was tested and does not have anything but still do not trust that for some just do not want to admit to it and why else would he be on the meds for it. So basically after exposure I got a yeast infection but for the past year and half every time I have sexual intercourse I get a yeast infection so I did not think anything of it except this time it was so bad never had it this bad took like 4 different doses of diflucan for it to finally go away after a month a half. When I went to the doctor a week after exposure the test came back positive for heavy growth of a yeast infection and the IGM came back negative for a new exposure for herpes 2 and the IGG was negative for herpes 2 but it did show positive for HSV1. Anyway I was still really worried because I read that antibodies cant appear till later so I recently got retested last Wednesday and once again the IGG test came back negative for herpes 2, all the symptoms have gone away except I still feel like it burns sometimes but I dont know if I am just overthinking and making my body feel like that. The thing that scares me the most is now I feel like nerve numbness under my butt cheek and down the inside of my leg do not know if it is related to something else. Other than the normal itch burn and discharge with a yeast infection did not have any sores or fever. Since I got tested after 5 1/2 weeks again it was negative does anyone think it still could be it? I am still so nervous even though my doctor said I should be fine unless I want to I can retest, its just those symptoms really scared me and the fact that I have this nerve feeling like a burning feeling and not consistent but back pain for time to time and possibly a swollen genital gland on the right side. Could it just be that I am overthinking this or could I really still have it. I am planning to get retested in July, 3 months after exposure but still will be freaking out till then and wanted to put my mind at ease a little.

People who get cold sores sometimes have a prescription of an antiviral on hand if they feel an outbreak coming on. A longer duration of a med doesn’t mean he has it genitally.
I understand that his words didn’t calm you, I know the stress. The yeast infection sounds just like that. An infection that took sometime before the med started to work or work completely. I know you are looking for answers to the other symptoms but they aren’t necessarily hsv specific. Sure hsv can cause nerve pain and a swollen node but it doesn’t sound as if you have had genital symptoms that point to infection. I can’t say yes or no to this being hsv related. Given that it was unprotected sex, I would recommend you have a final test, IgG, after 12 weeks has passed. If you get any questionable sores or marks, have them looked at but try your best to relax and see if this helps the symptoms you do have subside. The mind is powerful and while I am not saying it’s all in your head but once we get stuck on one thing, it’s hard to believe it could be anything else. Good luck.

I know that, but when I asked his friends they told me they think its that cause I know this was not good of me but I was so worried when I saw that name that I saw it said he takes one everyday for 21 days, thats a therapy that would be done for genital i feel like and his friends mentioned he does it like every other month or two months. Right thats what is worrying me like this sensations around that area that I never had even though the test came back negative I am worried that I am one of those who antibodies still have not shown up. The doctor saying I dont really need to get retested just did not do the job since I know it was unprotected and after finding that out after made it that much more stressful.
