Is it herpes???

It started off as a small bump in a hair follicle then it burst and then two more popped up. Now it seems everytime one pops more pop up. They are all confined to the base of the shaft where all hair is located. I dont know what it is but it has been over one week. some still havent healed and i have a cluster of them. lymph nodes only seem to be swollen at night.

You'd have to follow up on this with your provider or a dermatologist to get a better idea of what all is going on all over your body.

its been a month almost to the day, and it has healed pretty much with hydrocortisone. April is when i have to go for the blood test. Just curious his one started off in a hair follicle also. I noticed one on my arm and also near my belly button could it be some type of fungal infection or allergic reaction to something?

Topical steroids can help herpes lesions go away but then they tend to just come back again more quickly. It's not recommended to be used on genital herpes lesions. It's actually how they stimulate herpes ob's in lab animals for tests - steroids.

At this point since your provider didn't think it was herpes, return now that you have symptoms again for further evaluation. You can follow up with a herpes igg blood test 4 months after the last tim eyou had sex prior to this all starting.

have you been seen yet by your provider? If not, that's your next step.
