chance of herpes

2 days ago I had unprotected sex and oral sex I was giving the oral sex to a lady and I was having unprotected sex more than 2 times with this lady ... She is OK from all STDs except from herpes type 1 and 2 ... what is the chance for me to get this disease how many percent and if I'm going to get this disease when I should see the symptoms ... and is it possible that I might be free from this disease even with what I did

please answer me

hi i just posted a question myself, i found out friday i have type 1 and type 2 and i have never googled and read so much in my life and i have been crying but my doctor said stress and crying will only make it worse for my body to get an outbreak so i am trying to not have a nervous breakdown ... from what you wrote you have a big chance of getting both, but some people are lucky and have had the same partner for years and still didn't get it... but do go to the doctor and you have to ask to be tested and also the specific type test (IgG and IgM) well specify either one or both.. it's a shame as i have read the herpes test is NOT included in annual exams.. smh i wish i was told this along time ago!

i did read though that type 1 oral is very common 80% of people don't even know they have it but it's less likely to be transfered with no breakout but i read having oral sex with type 1 can be transfered to ur genital area as well but both are not transfered thru blood, semen, vaginal fluids etc just from actual skin to skin contact...

hope i helped a bit, and good luck...
