Confusing test results

I had a questionsble contact with a female in December of 2007.  In April of 2008 I had an IGG test done through an online company called Request a test, (www.requestatest.com).  HSV1 was positive and my HSV2 score was 2.06.  I had them retest in February of 2009 and it was HSV1 Positive and HSV2 at 1.39.  I had what I thought were Genital Herpes symptoms so I went to an STD clinic here in Portland, OR, (Westover Heights Clinic).  They examined me and said that what I had down there was deffinatly not Herpes but rather contact dermatitis.  They retested me for HSV1 and 2 using IGG test and it came back at HSV1 positive and HSV2 negative at 0.66.  What do I believe?

So your saying that I should believe them and just drop the whole thing.  I really want to.  The symptoms I'm haveing arn't anything like I see on the internet in pictures and what I read.

They are some of the best in the business :)

Your + hsv2 igg's were low positives and needed confirming .  If you really can't let this go, ask them to do a WB for you if you really need the peace of mind.

Westover heights said I should not worry and that I do not have HSV2.  Should I just let it rest?

Continue following up at the westover heights clinic. You can not do better than them when it comes to herpes.
